XBO Ventures Leads $1.5M Laters.com Seed Round

XBO Ventures, the investment arm of XBO.com, has led a $1.5 million seed round in Laters.com, a Singapore-based online travel agency built around flexible and alternative payment methods.

Formerly known as Fly Fairly, Laters.com enables travellers to book flights from more than 650 airlines using over 100 payment methods. These include digital wallets, stablecoins, more than 70 cryptocurrencies, and approximately 40 buy now, pay later and instalment options.

The funding will support the growth of the Laters.com brand, expansion of its core travel business, and development of new products and verticals.

Key facts

  • Funding: $1.5 million seed round

  • Use of funds: Brand growth, core-business expansion and new products

Rethinking how travellers pay

Travel is global, but paying for it can still be constrained by card availability, currency conversion and the timing of personal cash flow.

Laters.com is addressing that friction by building the booking experience around how customers want to pay. Travellers can pay in full or spread the cost, depending on the options available in their market. Most of the platform’s payment volume already comes from methods outside traditional card networks.

Laters.com also reports that customers paying with cryptocurrency spend more than twice as much as its average customer, often booking long-haul routes and higher cabin classes.

The company has recorded a monthly net profit since February 2025, according to management accounts, and the United States has become its largest market.

Why we invested in Laters.com

At XBO Ventures, we back companies that make digital assets and modern payment technology genuinely useful.

Laters.com stood out because it has turned crypto payments into a practical, working option within one of the world’s largest consumer industries. Customers do not need to learn a new financial product or change how they book travel. They simply gain more ways to complete the purchase.

“We back companies that turn digital assets into something people actually spend,” said Dor Maman, Co-Founder and CFO of XBO.com.

The investment reflects a broader shift we see across global payments. Customers increasingly expect to transact across countries, currencies and payment networks without being restricted to a single card or banking method.

Laters.com has built its experience around that expectation.

From digital assets to everyday spending

Much of the conversation around digital assets still focuses on trading and investment. We believe the next stage of adoption will increasingly be driven by practical uses that solve familiar problems.

Travel is a strong example. It is inherently international, often involves high-value transactions, and brings together multiple currencies, payment systems and customer preferences.

By supporting Laters.com, we are backing a team that is already demonstrating how flexible payment infrastructure can improve that experience at scale.

What comes next

Laters.com will use the seed funding to strengthen its core flight-booking business while developing additional products and verticals.

Its longer-term opportunity may extend beyond travel. The company’s payments-first model is built around how customers already manage and spend their money—an approach that could be relevant to other high-value purchases.

For us, this investment advances a central objective: helping strong companies turn digital assets and alternative payment infrastructure into useful, scalable products.

The funding round has also received independent coverage from Tech in Asia.
